Our Priorities

Social Action

There are two general approaches to social action:

1. Meeting the concrete needs of suffering individuals;

2. Strategically changing "structures in society which impede access of all persons to truth, dignity and full human development ".

We strive to embrace both approaches to social action in order to pursue lasting change. We work to strategically change structures in the church which support structures in society that discriminate against, impoverish, and prevent full human development of women and children. (1)
